On the evening of April 11, 1981, three people were brutally murdered in Cabin 28 at the Keddie Resort in Plumas County, California. Residents Sue Sharp, her son John and his friend Dana Wingate had been tied up, bludgeoned with a hammer and stabbed to death with a knife. When police arrived on the scene they found Sue's two youngest sons and their friend safe and unharmed in another room, but her youngest daughter was nowhere to be found, and detectives believed she had been taken by whomever perpetrated the gruesome killings. In April 1984, bones and a skull were identified as the remains of the missing girl, Tina Sharp. One of the young boys who survived, Justin Eason, claimed he witnessed the brutal murders that occurred in Cabin 28, and gave detectives a description of the two men he said were the killers, but with few leads the police investigation came up with very little in the way of motive or suspects.
